I wouldn't say I've got an addictive personality but when it comes to Fashion and beauty products, I'm hooked!
So whilst looking on the Next website at their new summer swimwear collection it soon changed from browsing to basket clicking.
I've been after a swimsuit ever since seeing Amanda Seyfried in Mamma mia rocking her little, navy one-piece. So after some searching I went with this pretty floral number. I didn't want one with any cut outs or holes; just a traditional swim cozzie that also had the cool factor.
One thing that i found off putting about swimsuits is sizing. I'm not blessed on the bust front, but have ample squidge on my derrière! I found Nexts' size 10 a little too snug on the bottom so had to return it for a perfect size 12. (There's nothing worse than bum bulge!) The top wasn't too loose, thank goodness, because by this point I loved the cozzie and would have been very sad to return it again.
But swimsuits do gain points for practicality when going a little mental on the water flumes and rapids! A lost bikini bottom at Centre Parcs is worse than heavy petting in the pool.
I do get bikini bottoms in a size 12 too, and did purchase this reasonably priced, striped set, also from Next.
My friend Annabel and I were talking about our love of Next and were saying do we love it so because we're getting older or have next really improved? A bit of both maybe, but I definitely think the latter.
Now where's that sun?
