Natural Chanel glow

This may come as a shock, but we have had two days of sunshine!! Yippeee!

So for today's make up I wanted to look glowing and more bronzed than normal. This means raiding the browns and bronzie colours in my make up box and whipping out my Mac mineralise skin Finish in medium dark. Yesssss!
I was thinking of putting some fake tan on but I have a love/hate relationship with it. Love it when you first put it on; you're skin looks so even and you feel like you've been marooned on a tropical island where it's illegal for one to burn. But hate the smell, the effort of applying it (especially on the middle of your back!) and the way your skin looks like tigger bread when it starts to flake away.

So sticking to my paleness I used my

Chanel vitalumière in 10 limpide nude.

It's a thin liquid foundation that has a light/medium cover and leaves skin looking dewy and glowing, but not too shinny. I used my Real Techniques buffing brush to apply and this worked it into the skin well.
Then popped some

Mac mineralise skin finish in medium dark

on the places that the sun would naturally kiss. My forehead, upper cheeks, nose and a bit on my chin. I used a an Eco tools large face brush to apply it. You can get these from Boots, and they are great!

I then Finished my cheeks with some

Chanel powder blush in 15 orchid rose

(Which is funny because I brought an orchid today!) I love Chanels blushes, I wish I had more. This one is a lovely dark peach verging on terracotta.

For my eyes I used a L'oréal chrome shine eye shadow and Bourjois 05 brun. Both brown/bronze. The Bourjois one is much more subtle; doesn't have as much shimmer as the L'oréal.
Sticking in the eye area, I used my

Laura Gellers baked impressions eye palette

in the darkest brown on my eye brows, using an eye brow brush. I find using a powder on my brow a little more natural looking than a pencil. If my hand isn't feeling too creative somedays then I stick to my pencil (even then it's tricky, and I have to start over!) Brows are the one thing I find a challenging each day.... Wish they were like Frans...
Anyway, enough moping about them! I used my

Clinique high impact mascara

and my

Chanel brilliant lip shine in 61 Santa Monica (beautiful peach shine) and I was finished!

Pale with a sun kissed glow.

Now please don't go away sunshine!
